Celebrated on the third Saturday of May each year, World Whisky Day is a celebration of all things related to the famous beverage; the day is about making whisky fun, accessible and enjoyable, and inviting everyone to try this incredible spirit in new ways. Typically, the first thing people think of when they hear the word whisky is sitting down and slowly sipping at their favourite dram, but here at Stag Bakeries, we have another way for you to enjoy the time-honoured Scottish spirit.
Our Orange & Whisky cake is a modern twist on the traditional light fruit cake. Using our tried and tested fruit cake recipe passed down the generations as a base, we have added a cocktail of whisky and orange to the mix to produce a memorable and moreish cake, perfect for any snacking occasion!
