We are very proud to announce that our Seaweed Water Biscuits have been awarded Highly Commended status in the Biscuits & Cookies category of the Great British Food Awards 2020.
Launched in 2014, the Great British Food Awards celebrate the country's finest artisanal produce, as well as all the hard-working people behind the scenes. The Great British Food Awards provide companies such Stag Bakeries with the opportunity to have food and drink tasted and judged by some of the UK's most acclaimed chefs, critics, and influencers, and it was an absolute pleasure for us to take part this year.
The Biscuits & Cookies category was judged by the fantastic Maunika Gowardhan, an Indian chef and food writer. Her comments on the Seaweed Water Biscuits were that they were ‘lovely crisp biscuits with seaweed flavour. Perfect accompaniment to a cheese platter’.
Made with a blend of three seaweeds, the Seaweed Water Biscuits were launched in 2013 and we are delighted that people continue to enjoy them.
