Cheeseboard Ideas

We thought it would be a good idea to offer some suggestions for cheeseboards to look great for any occasion, from parties to after dinner nibbles or just for having family and friends over.

Option 1

Original Water Biscuits filled with salmon slices or strong matured cheese.
Sea Salt & Black Pepper Water Biscuits with prawns and a slice of lemon
Parmesan & Garlic water Biscuits with a teaspoon of hummus
Strathdon Blue Cheese Straws
Strong Aged Gouda Cheese
Grapes sweet & sour

Option 2

Sweet selection Shortbread – different flavours (see previous blog for full flavours)
Strawberries & cream
Hebridean Baker Shortbread – Whisky, Honey, Marmalade
Multi – Seed Water Biscuits with apple slices and cinnamon
Rosemary with a vintage cheddar
Dunlop Cheese Straws

Option 3

Seaweed Oatcakes with pate
Honey & Seed oatcakes with raspberry jam
Smoked Dunlop Cheese Straws
Traditional Butter shortbread with strawberry & honey
Chilli Water Biscuits with pesto and goats cheese
Smoked Butter Oatcakes with apple & blackberry.

There are so many options and ideas to choose from in making your own cheeseboard and they all sound delicious, dependant on preferences so mix it up and explore different flavours and of course we would love to know if you have tried and tested any of the ideas listed above.
